Apply for the Women@Dior program by May 25.
UNESCO is partnering with Dior, in the context of Global Education Coalition, to run a mentoring programme for young women entitled Women@Dior. The programme provides young women studying in tertiary education with education and mentoring on issues such as entrepreneurship and leadership. Participants will also create a “Dream for Change” project that supports the empowerment of girls and young women.Dior has expanded the number of places available for the 2021 edition of this programme with an additional 63 places available globally. Previous mentees have come from all over the world, including France, China, Nigeria, Kenya, Costa Rica, Brazil, Iran, Bangladesh and many more countries.
UNESCO Almaty invites applications from young women from Central Asia who want to change the world. Participants will be selected based on Dior’s three key criteria:
• Talent
• Ambition
• generosity.
All applicants must be:
• young women
• currently enrolled in a bachelor programme or tertiary-level technical/vocational course
• fluent in English
• have a reliable internet connection to participate in the online classes and discussions.
Interested candidates should submit the following documents in English to Elliot Napier at e.napier@unesco.org by midnight (Almaty time) 25 May:
• CV (including age, nationality, and information on university studies)
• motivation letter
