UNESCO Headquarters has published the proceedings of a Central Asian Round Table on “Intercultural Dialogue and Cultural Diversity” in cooperation with the Kazakh Institute of Oriental Studies.
This Round Table was organized in Almaty from 4 to 6 June 2007 in order to exchange and share good practices in intercultural dialogue and to promote UNESCO Declaration on Cultural Diversity.This publication includes papers, speeches and presentations of Central Asian and foreign participants, reflecting on past and on-going projects conducive to intercultural dialogue, pluralism and mutual comprehension.
The UNESCO Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity complements this publication.
