Bishkek, 15 December 2021 UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office has participated at the webinar “Media and information literacy of the modern librarian” arranged by the Association of E-libraries in Kyrgyzstan. The presentation of UNESCO Guidelines on Media and information literacy policy and strategy and conceptual framework has been delivered.
The webinar covered the basic conceptual notions and understanding of MIL among librarians of the Central Asian countries: speakers from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan shared their knowledge on MIL and experience of projects implemented in their respective countries.Video record of the webinar in Russian
