The Executive Board meeting of Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs took place in Almaty on April 14, 2017. During the meeting were considered the activity report of the Federation’s Regional Branch in Karaganda oblast, Regulation on an annual internal rating of UNESCO Clubs in Kazakhstan as well as the UNESCO Clubs and UNESCO Clubs-Candidates Status.
In its turn the representative of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO Akmaral Oraziman expressed her trust on fruitful cooperation with the Federation in the framework of the 25 year Anniversary of the National Commission and Kazakhstan’s accession to UNESCO.
As the result of the Meeting 5 organizations gained the status of UNESCO Club: Children journalism school “Alem Media” (Almaty), Children’s music school #3 (Uralsk), Oblast center for children and youth tourism and ecology (Uralsk), R.Gliyer children’s music school #2 (Almaty) and Zhambyl specialized gymnasium-boarding school for gifted children (Ust-Kamenogorsk). Moreover 7 organizations, who successfully presented their activities, applied for joining the Federation and received the Candidate Club status.
Thereby in the year of 70 year Anniversary of UNESCO Clubs movement, 55 organizations with this status are the members of Kazakhstan Federation.
