«Happy Schools Project» Video Contest

UNESCO Bangkok has launched a video contest for «Happy Schools Project».

The project looks at the alternative way of the quality education that supports learners’ diverse talents and strengths and refuses competitive, stress-fueled and test-oriented school environment. This video contest is aimed at raising awareness and promoting happiness and well-being in education.

What videos can be considered for this competition?
-videos that show what happy school looks like in action and provide participant’s viewpoint of happiness in schools;
-videos with creative, original and artistic content as well as with high technical quality;
-videos that are filmed in English or with English subtitles, that do not exceed three minutes.

Who can participate?
The competition is open to people of all ages, residing in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes students, teachers, school leaders and parents. The competition also welcomes submissions from young and professional artists, photographers, designers, and filmmakers, so on.

Prizes
1. The 1st-place winner will be invited to Bangkok, Thailand, to present his/her video at a special launch event (to be determined).
2. Prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be announced soon. Please check for updates on UNESCO Bangkok website (see the link below).
3. The winners will be notified via email and announced on the UNESCO Bangkok website and social media.

The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2017.
